I am teaming up again with my favorite linky friend over at
Doodle Bugs Teaching to bring you five fun facts about my week!
Are we really already in July!! Summer needs to SLOW down!
I have been very focused on my blog lately, trying to get posts
up and going and feel like I have neglected my TPT products! I have
updated the majority of my covers to square! YEAH that's a job in itself, but I
have not created anything new! So my goal next week is to focus on TPT
creations!
I
need to find a good balance! If anyone has any tips please share!!
I wrote a very fun blog
post yesterday on a fun and FREE way to teach and practice the concept of big
and little! If you teach lower el. check it out! It also includes some
ways that kindergarten teachers could use it as well with different concepts!
Click on the picture if you'd like to check it out!
I love decorating my house
for all the different holidays and I noticed that I didn't have any fun Fourth
of July decorations! So I busted out my cameo and went to work! Honestly if you
are a teacher and haven't heard of Silhouette you need to check them out! I
have written many blog posts on my love for them! Here
is my first post on it! Honestly, add it to your Christmas and/or birthday
list! Hey maybe you do Fourth of July presents :)
Like I said above I have
been really blog focused this week! I have been traveling down the very
personal road of my daughter’s disability and it is such a different world than
being the special education teacher! I want to help other parents of children
with special needs so I figured a blog is where I can hopefully reach some!
Writing
about personal topics takes me a really long time as I want everything to be
just right! If you are a parent of a child with special needs this is one for
you! Or you can pass it along to parents!
I am so excited to share this book that I just received for my
daughter from MarbleSpark! It is a book that has her name in the text but also has it hidden on
every page! This is one of the coolest things that I have gotten for her so
far! I plan on giving this to all new babies and for baptisms, etc! You can
check out what some of the pages look like below. My daughter loves looking through the book and reading it! They have some awesome pictures!
This could be a great first birthday present too!
This
post may contain affiliate links. By clicking on them and
purchasing products through my links, I receive a small commission. This
commission helps me support my family by allowing me to be part time to
take my daughter to therapy on the other days. I would not support
ANYTHING that I do not believe in!
I'm working on changing my covers to square covers, too! It's a pain but it does make a big difference in how it looks.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with that! It sure does make a difference! I just uploaded a new product and the square cover was SO much easier to make now that they are all more uniform!
DeleteI do the same thing between my blog and my TpT products! It is so hard to find a balance!! Love your Fourth of July pictures!! Enjoy your weekend! Linda's Learning Loot :)
