I am
so excited to say that "I AM ON SUMMER VACATION!" For the first month
I make sure to put my teacher hat away (other than creating for TPT, which is
relaxing for me) to make sure that I take the time to recharge! Teachers work
very hard and we need to remember to take care of ourselves as we are always
giving to others.
Here are the top three ways I
plan to recharge the first month of summer vacation, which officially
starts today for me (can you tell I'm excited!) :)!
First and foremost, I will spend time with my sweet little girl! She loves playing outside in the water and with her bubbles, running, gymnastics and she loves to take walks! I see numerous walks a day in our future!
I put all of my teacher
books in a drawer for a month! Don't worry I will dig them out around July;
I can't stay away for too long!
Instead I pulled out a
photography book that was given to me this Christmas by one of my husband’s
colleagues as he knew I was interested in photography. How sweet is
that?! I am still only on page 11 :(
Being crafty is something
that has always relaxed me!
My daughter LOVES Brown Bear
Brown Bear right now and I started this quilt before I had children and just
never finished the binding. So this will be getting done ASAP so she can enjoy
it!
I also just recently
purchased a Silhouette
Cameo (if you haven't heard of this, check out my first blog post! I've
been blogging about all the fun things I have created) and have started
preparing for my daughters third birthday party!
This linky party
is available for all those who want to share the top three ways you recharge over the
summer!
THE RULES ARE SIMPLE
-
Save at least one of the pictures (numbers or the feet) and place them into your blog post
- Make sure that somewhere in your post you link back to my blog (make sure it's the "How Teachers Recharge Post" so others can participate if they'd like and read other posts)
- Read and comment on 2 blog posts that were linked up before yours (If you are one of the first few just pick a total of 3 blogs to comment on)
- Comment on one blog post that was linked up after your post
I am so jealous that you are done already! Enjoy the time with your beautiful little girl.
